    Hi,
    we want to create a 2D project and we use Tao to use OpenGL.
    To create Light, we want to draw our scene, draw a light layer and blend the layers together. For this we want to use render targets, or in opengl: frame buffer objects (FBOs)

    Since OpenGL 3.0, FBOs can be created with Gl.glGenFramebuffers(…);

    We added the Tao.OpenGL.dll as Reference from the Tao Classic, but can’t find a function.

    So we tried Gl.glGenFramebuffersEXT(…) (older than OpenGL 3.0) but get following error (translated):

    An unhandled exception of type ‘System.AccessViolationException’ occurred in Tao.OpenGl.dll.
    Additional information: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

    The questions:
    1. How to start with Tao Classic, what do we have to do, to get a basic start? What dll do we have to load where?

    2. Does the dll have a glGenFramebuffer function? Maybe we had a right setup but the dll is wrong?

    3. How to fix the error?

    This is old but well, I see here http://www.sudouest.fr/2014/02/22/stigmates-d-un-hiver-brutal-1469498-2810.php a similar problem. Maybe that will fix it.

    I can’t seem to edit my post above but obviously the link I provided has nothing to do with the issue. Probably was on the buffer of my copy fct…and I did not check…
